Mr Andrew W Landry

Andrew W Landry, known to all his friends as “Andy”, a native of New Orleans and a resident of Livingston Parish passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021 of complications from Covid-19. He was 82 years old. He was preceded in death by his parents Oville J. and Pearl G. Landry and his younger sister Agnes Zeringue. He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Mary D. Landry; son, Richard Landry (Wendy), and a daughter Sarah Heximer (David) as well as six grandchildren, Courtney Edwards, David Heximer III, Ashleigh Carpenter, Drew Heximer, Morgan Landry and Mariah Landry and four great grand-children. Survived also by brothers, Charles Landry (Taylor), Lawrence Landry (Dolly), Harold Landry (Brenda), Henry Landry (Toni) and sister, Shirley Glen. Andrew thoroughly enjoyed retirement, spending time with his family, being a papaw, doing woodwork, and attending classes with his friends at the YMCA. He and his famous potato salad will be missed by all that knew him. A memorial service will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, La. on Sunday, May 23, 2021 at 1PM
