Mrs. Kyzar was originally from New Iberia, but Gonzales became her home when she moved here with her husband Erle Kyzar over 40 years ago. She was a wife and mother who loved her family dearly. Her French Cajun roots were a source of pride and comfort to her as she regularly listened to Cajun music and was commonly heard singing her favorite songs in French. She always enjoyed meeting others who spoke French. She had a sense of humor and was young at heart. She was an avid reader and never lost the desire to learn. She is remembered with great affection by her family and friends. Mrs. Kyzar was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Gonzales where her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 4, 2016.
