Beverly Kees Lewis Reusch , age 59, originally from Alexandria, residing in Prairieville, Louisiana passed away peacefully in her home on January 28, 2016. Beverly was struggling with the untimely and tragic death of her son, Kees in December 2015 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
A celebration of Beverly and Kees’ life will be at 2:30pm Saturday February 6, 2016 at Horseshoe Drive United Methodist Church, Alexandria, Louisiana with Reverend Tracy McKenzie officiating under the direction of Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, Louisiana. Visitation will be from 1:30pm until time of service.
Beverly is preceded in death by her son, Kees Reusch (27), parents, Hardin and Patsy Dell Treadway Lewis and brother, Leo Morrell Lewis.
She is survived by her husband, George Reusch, daughter Avice Reusch (Jeff Steffans), stepchildren Eric Reusch and Katie Youngblood, grandson, Roman Kees Reusch (mother Yasbeth Espinosa), sisters, Geri Odom (Jack) and Liz Matthews (Randy), numerous nieces and nephews and stepmother, Jimmie Nelle Lewis.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Diabetic Association.
