Bub loved the outdoors, he always enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved a good sporting event, especially supporting his local Dutchtown Griffins and LSU Tigers. Bub always had a special affection for his high school football coach , Coach Fred Waites , who had a impactful influence on his life. Bub also enjoyed being out in his vegetable garden tending to the land. He was a loving man and would give anything he could to help the next person. Bub definitely had a heart of gold, he took care day in and day out for his dear wife after she had suffered from her stroke. His outgoing personality always guaranteed he would make friend wherever he went. He truly will be missed by all of those who knew and loved him.
