Asberry, Celia “Bunny” A devoted wife, caring mother, adoring grandmother, and a loyal friend, died, Saturday, December 26, 2020 at 9:28 pm of complications from cancer at her home surrounded by loved ones. She was 67, born April 5, 1953 on Easter Sunday, a native of New Orleans and long-time resident of Prairieville, LA. Bunny excelled in all she did. She was a very talented Seamstress, Floral Designer, Retail Manager, Restaurant Owner, and amazing Cook. In her later years Bunny returned to school to obtain a B.S. Degree in Political Science at LSU in Baton Rouge because of her passion for government.
She was truly a selfless woman who always put the needs of others above her own. To have been loved by Bunny is a gift. She loved with her whole heart unconditionally. Bunny saw the best in everyone and always there to lend a helping hand, even when she was struggling with her illness. Her kind, generous, unwavering love was like no other. Those who were loved by Bunny will be left with a hole in their hearts that will not easily be filled. May we take comfort in knowing Bunny is now free from disease and all earthly pains, and now rests in the arms of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
