Former mayor of Gonzales and past Executive Director of the Louisiana Municipal Association passed away on January 4, 2011. Born November 24, 1934 to Sam and Pearl (Leggio) Pasqua, he was a lifelong resident of Gonzales. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Laura; four children, Melanie (Charlie), Charlotte (Mike), Tom (Margaret), and Lauri (Shannon); and six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Frank, and niece Sharon Pasqua Lapino. The family would like to express their deep appreciation to Barbara Breaux for her dedication and the tender, loving care she provided. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 22 at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1022 North Burnside Avenue in Gonzales.
