Mr. Charles Charlie, Tennessee Lee Scott

Funeral services for Charles Lee Scott, 56, of Geismar, LA formerly of Savannah, TN will be on Friday August 27 at 1:00 P.M. at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Savannah with Bro. Ed Britt and Bro. Josh Hite officiating. Burial will be in the Memory Gardens of Hardin County.

Mr. Scott was born on August 4, 1953 to Dudley and Marjorie Boatright Scott in Savannah, TN, and passed from this life on August 24, 2009 at Ochsner Hospital in New Orleans, LA. He was a former employee of J.E. Merit in Baton Rouge, LA, and enjoyed music, attending concerts, spending time with his family and playing with his dog, Savannah. He was also a gifted piano and keyboard player.

Mr. Scott was preceded in death by his step-father David Elvis Burross of Savannah.

He is survived by his parents Marjorie Burross of Savannah and Dudley Scott of Franklin, TN; three daughters Shonda Hillensbeck and her husband Brian of Prairieville, LA, Stacy Cook and her husband Kevin of Ft. Campbell, KY, and Samantha Lobell and her husband Michael of Prairieville, LA; one son Bro. Josh Hite and his wife Christie of Corinth; four sisters Lisa, Theresa, Gloria, and Becky; two brothers Pete and Scotty; six grandchildren Ashlynne Scott, Kennedy and Ethan Lobell all of Prairieville, LA, Patience and Paytlin Hite of Corinth, MS and Alex Hite of Michie, TN.

Visitation will be on Tuesday August 25 from 5:00 P.M till 9:00 P.M. a Ourso Funeral Home and on Thursday August 27 from 5:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and from 11:00 A.M. till service time on Friday at Shackelford Funeral Home in Savannah.
