Chip Randall Bargas

A native and resident of St. Amant, he passed away at his home on Thursday, August 16, 2012. He was 31 years old and a weigh master for SGS Petroleum at Rubicon. He love making music, singing, and playing any instrument that he could get his hands on, especially his drums. He is survived by his wife, Noelle Broussard Bargas; parents, Danny and Linda Templet Bargas; daughter, Presleigh Bargas; son, Kace Poche; stepson, Skyler Baker; brother, Chet Bargas; niece and nephew, Allie and Ethan Bargas; and his canine companion, Chopper. Preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ovide Templet; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Bargas Sr.; and a brother, Brent Bargas. A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Sunday, August 19, 2012 from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, August 20, 2012 from 9 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday at Holy Rosary Catholic Church at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Alec Sheldon. Entombment will follow in Holy Rosary Catholic Mausoleum. Pallbearers will be Chet Bargas, Ryan Honea, Wesley Bourgeois, Ken Cornett, Todd Guidry, Cade Dupont, Eric Babin, and Brice Babin. Honorary pallbearer will be Ethan Bargas.
