

Chris Joseph “Boxx” Stafford, born in Baton Rouge and resident of Prairieville, passed away on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at the age of 57. Boxx was a very loving and kind hearted person who provided help and support to anyone in need. He had a deep love for the Lord and was a very devoted member of Carpenter’s Chapel Church. Boxx also enjoyed music and playing his guitar. He is survived by his loving wife, Pamala Stafford; daughter, Chrissy Stafford (Clint); son, Coty Stafford (Casey); his beloved dog, Ellie Mae; grandchildren, Hayden, Caitlyn, Gracie, Wesley, and Logan Stafford; sisters Natalie Stafford Plaisance (Michael), Sherrie Stafford Anderson, Carla Stafford; brothers, Carl “Bee” Stafford (Kathy), Calvin Stafford (Sonya), Charlie Mac Stafford; step-mother, Betty Owens Stafford. Boxx is preceded in death by his mother, Madge Stafford Austen; father, Charlie Stafford; paternal grandparents, Millie and Carl Stafford; maternal grandparents, Thelma and Perkins Brown. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Carpenter’s Chapel Church in Prairieville from 10am until funeral service at 2pm. Interment will follow at Carpenter’s Chapel Church Cemetery.
