Clarence John Arceneaux

Clarence John "Suga" Arceneaux entered into eternal rest on October 1, 2011 at 4:30 a.m. He was born on April 18, 1928 in Rayne, LA to Victoria and John Belizare Arceneaux. He was a brother to the late Sable Wildrige;a beloved husband of Delores Arceneaux; father of Vicki Arceneaux, Marlene Arceneaux Thomas, Lydia Boudy, Barbara Perez, Katherine White, Yolanda Robinson, and Lisa Tobias; father in law to Michael Boudy, Leonard Robinson, Jorge' Perez, Sam Johnson, Kenis Tobias and the late Kenneth Thomas. He was grandfather to 22 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. He was a brother in law to Helena Tureaud, Leonard Johnson, and Olivia Johnson, and he left behind a host of other relatives. He retired from Sears Department Store after 17 years of service. He also worked for Martin Marietta. Visitation will be held at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, 1022 N. Burnside Ave, Gonzales on Saturday, October 8, 2011 from 8:00am until religious services at 9:30 am. Interment will follow Hope Haven Garden of Memories, Gonzales.
