Clarence Watts

Clarence Watts, a lifelong resident of Livingston La. passed away on April 22, 2022, at the age of 88 surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Linda Thompson Watts, children, Micha (Joell’) Watts, John Watts, Angelia Noel (Deryl) Michael, Melvin (Melanie) Wheat, Donnie (Eileen) Thompson, Andy (Deborah) Thompson, Karen (Chip) Boatner, and David (Heidi) Thompson; grandchildren, Jackson, and Savannah Watts, Mary Eastham, Hannah and Eli Turnage, Katie and Connor Michael, Jay Thompson, and Sara Jones, Casey and Jared Boatner, Dylan, Delaney, Danna Claire, Darby Thompson, and Le’Cee Andrews; great-grandchildren, Landon, Gavin, Camden, Mason, Logan Eastham, JoCee and Rowdee Andrews and Maci Jones and sister, Norma Watts Page. He was preceded in death by Mary Lou Wheat Watts, the mother of his children, parents, Charles and Clara Broussard Watts, and siblings, Lenora Watts Benton, Julius Calvin Watts, Myrtle Watts Burge Lea, JC Watts, and Jesse Watts. A visitation for Clarence will be held Tuesday, April 26, 2022, from 9:00 AM to 11:30 AM at Red Oak Baptist Church, 28760 Red Oak Rd, Livingston, LA 70754, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 AM. He will be laid to rest at Red Oak Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Eli Turnage, Jared Boatner, Jay Thompson, Dylan Thompson, Connor Michael, and Jackson Watts. Honorary Pallbearers are, Darin Burge and Torrey Case. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or a charity of your choice.
