Clark A. King Sr. peacefully passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2014. He was a native of Gonzales and employed by Ethyl Corp. in Baton Rouge for 35 years. He was a member of the Civilian Conservation Corps and proudly served his country in the Pacific as a member of the Army Air Corps during WWII. He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 71 years, Dorothy Bourque King, his parents and three siblings. Clark is survived by four children, son, Clark A. King Jr. DDS and wife Paula of Napoleonville; son, Neal King of Belcher, LA; daughter, Beryl King of Gonzales; son Brian King and his wife Vonnie of St. Amant. Clark was blessed with and loved by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. He enjoyed visits with family, taking care of his yard and was a big Tiger fan. He will be sorely missed by family and friends. Visitation will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church in Gonzales on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at 9:00 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Hope Haven Garden of Memories in Prairieville.
