Corrine Blanchard Ikerd

CORRINE “CO” BLANCHARD IKERD passed away peacefully on Monday, March 28, 2016 in Gonzales, Louisiana; she was 94. She was a resident of Prairieville, LA and a native of St. Bernard Parish. She was known for her love of family, flowers, and reading. Survived by her two children, Linda Hernandez and Charles “Mike” Ikerd of Prairieville; grandchildren, Paula Hernandez, Chad Ikerd and wife Whitney, Chris Ikerd, Corey Ikerd and wife Erica, and Cody Ikerd; two great-grandchildren, Dylan and Devin Ikerd; and former daughter-in-law, Brenda Ikerd Wiggins. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles “CB” Brantley Ikerd of Roxie, MS; son-in-law, Paul J. Hernandez; daughter-in-law, Connie S. Ikerd; parents, Edward and Annette Theriot Blanchard of Bourg, LA. Pallbearers will be her grandsons as well as Rodney Heath and Mitchell Westbrook; Honorary Pallbearers, Charles Beary and Warren Wiggins. Services will be held at Green Lawn Memorial Park in Natchez, MS on Saturday, April 2 at 1pm. The family would like to extend their gratitude to Dr. Bunnie Hill for her compassionate care.
