

Dale Aaron Johnson, resident of Prairieville, LA, passed away on August 25, 2025, at the age of 84. He was born in Salina, KS to parents, Carl and Irene Johnson. Dale was a retired Electrical Instrumentation Designer and veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Throughout his life, Dale amassed a multitude of interests—music lover, film buff, hunter, fisherman, gearhead, racing fan, jack-of-all-trades do-it-yourselfer, and a bit of a jokester. Above all else, Dale was a family man. He was a proud father, grandfather and great grandfather, and a devoted husband.
Dale is survived by his wife, Phyllis Johnson; children, Michael Johnson, Vicki Poche, Benjamin Johnson, and Eric Johnson; grandchildren, Nicole Johnson, Rome Johnson, Taylor McClean, Claire Poche, Emma Poche, Tyler Johnson, Benay Johnson, and Kol Johnson; and great grandchildren, Hollis Marlowe, Kylyn Marlowe, Linnie Marlowe, Jackson Bayard, Addy McClean, and Owen Marlowe. He is preceded in death by his parents, Carl Aaron Johnson and Irene Agnes Johnson; sister, Carol Sue Skarp; and granddaughter, Kelsi Brooke Johnson.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025 at 11:00 AM, where Dale’s ashes will be interred alongside his parents at Gypsum Hill Cemetery in Salina, KS. Arrangements by Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales, La
