

A native of Baton Rouge and resident of Gonzales, he passed away Friday, September 9, 2011 at the age of 42. He was a loving father and husband as well as an avid hunter and fisherman. He is survived by wife of 13 years, Vanessa LaFosse Boudreaux; sons, Derek and Taylor; daughter, Lori; parents, Tom and Diana Boudreaux; brothers and sisters-in-law, Jeff and Rachel Boudreaux, Brad and Abbey Boudreaux; sister and brother-in-law, Jennifer and William Holladay; grandmother, Hilda Doran; grandparents, Jasper and Ola Lee Boudreaux; mother and father-in-law, Rita and Wallace LaFargue; and numerous other loving family, nieces and nephews, and close friends. Preceded in death by grandfather, George Doran; and an uncle, George Doran Jr. There will be a visitation at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville, on Wednesday, September 14, 2011, from 10:00 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 12:00 p.m. with the Rev. Eric Gyan, celebrant. Pallbearers are Jeff Boudreaux, Brad Boudreaux, John Lamabe, Jason Pitre, Todd Rabalais, Marshall Barns, Bryan Beale, and Todd Nevils. Honorary pallbearers are Scott Moulard, Keith Rodgers, Lucas Ragsusa, Mark Sundeen, Mike Toups, and Lee Herbert. He fished in the St. Jude’s fishing tournament. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Children’s Miracle Network Foundation.
