Mr. Daniel was a native of Prairieville, LA. and a resident of Magnolia, MS. and a retired Operations Superintendant with Oxychem Inc.. Visitation will be held on Thursday May 28, 2015 at Ourso Funeral Home -13533 Airline Hwy.- Gonzales, LA. from 9:00 am until Religious services at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at the Hope Haven Cemetery in Prairieville, LA. . Mr. Daniel is survived by his wife Drunella Bradley of Baton Rouge, LA. ,2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law, Daniel "Bear" Melancon of Palmyra, MO. and Darryl Gene Melancon and Tracy Howe Melancon of Anchorage, Alaska, 1 sister and brother-in-law, Peggy and Irvin Walker of Prairieville, LA. , 1 brother Todd Melancon and fiancé Angie Frump Mayers of Prairieville, LA. and a sister-in-law Lisa Rumfello Melancon and 5 grandchildren. Mr. Daniel was preceded in death by his 1st wife ,Donna Tate Melancon, parents Eldwin Joseph and Eunice McClelland Melancon, 2 sisters, Christine Rossi and Patricia Melancon, 1 Brother, Terry Melancon, and 1 daughter-in-law Alexandra Carpenter.
