Ms Verna, Jeremy, Johnaton, and all of her family, you have our deepest sympathy. I didn't know for a long time that Debra was sick, and even after I didn't know how bad it was. Time passes so fast, but the last time I saw Debra, months ago I guess, she had that big smile on her face as she always did. So sorry we didn't make the service, but know our prayers are with you all.

Debra was always such a joy to work with, laugh with, and even cry with.  She could turn any situation into laughter...above anyone else, she taught me how to laugh at myself and how to have a little more fun than I had the day before.  I love my Debby-Deb more than words can say and know she will be watching over all her "friend-girls" everyday.  I find true comfort and peace knowing her love for our Lord and knowing she is with him now.  She always spoke of her love for all of her family and friends and I pray that all of you will find much peace knowing she is at peace now.

To Debra's family, I am so sorry for your loss. Debra was a beautiful person inside & out. I have great memories of working with her at B & B. She was always happy, always smiling, & always had a kind word for everyone. She spoke fondly of her family & loved them very much. I am honored to have been her friend & I will always remember her. I pray her family will find peace knowing that she is now with her Savior, Jesus Christ.

I am sorry for ya"ll lost. I am a long time friend of Keith's an met Debra through him. She alwase was smiling and joking around,a way of making you feel better when you where felling down. I am sorry I haven't seen her in quite a wile,but am glad I had the chance to know her and feel I am a better person through the things I learned by knowing her,she will be deeply missed. I will keep her an ya'll in my prayers.I would like to share this story with ya'll that was shared with me,  

            THE DRAGONFLY
Once, in a little pond, in the muddy water under the lily pads,
there lived a little water beetle in a community of water
beetles.  They lived a simple and comfortable life in the pond
with few disturbances and interruptions.

Once in a while, sadness would come to the community when one of
their fellow beetles would climb the stem of a lily pad and
would never be seen again.  They knew when this happened; their
friend was dead, gone forever.

Then, one day, one little water beetle felt an irresistible urge
to climb up that stem.  However, he was determined that he would
not leave forever.  He would come back and tell his friends what
he had found at the top.

When he reached the top and climbed out of the water onto the
surface of the lily pad, he was so tired, and the sun felt so
warm, that he decided he must take a nap.  As he slept, his body
changed and when he woke up, he had turned into a beautiful
blue-tailed dragonfly with broad wings and a slender body
designed for flying.

So, fly he did!  And, as he soared he saw the beauty of a whole
new world and a far superior way of life to what he had never
known existed.

Then he remembered his beetle friends and how they were thinking
by now he was dead.  He wanted to go back to tell them, and
explain to them that he was now more alive than he had ever been
before.  His life had been fulfilled rather than ended.

But, his new body would not go down into the water.  He could
not get back to tell his friends the good news.  Then he
understood that their time would come, when they, too, would
know what he now knew.  So, he raised his wings and flew off
into his joyous new life!

Debra is one of the greatest influences that have shaped my life.  As a little girl she and Randy would bring me to church every Sunday.  What a precious and priceless gift!  It was through her giving heart that I met Jesus, the greatest gift of all.  What a great legacy she leaves with me, and I now pass on to my children.

I was able to spend some time with Debra a couple of weeks ago.  Jeremy and Melissa, she was so proud of her “Bubba” and “Baby Girl”.  When she talked about her grandbabies there was a special spark in her eyes.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you Jeremy, Melissa, Jonathon, Ms. Verna and Braud Family.

It is very difficult to comprehend the loss of a sister-in-law, a friend and a neighbor.  I will never again hear her say "Be nice, Judy Braud". When working jigsaw puzzles, she would say "make it fit, Judy Braud".  Debra was always appreciative of what people did.  Whatever someone did for her, it was always followed by "thank you".  Debra thanked us for giving her a bath, feeding her, cleaning floors,  giving her medicine, doing the laundry, and the list goes on and on. My last few months with Debra were very enjoyable and this I will remember of Debra. I will miss her very much.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

My prayers are with Debra's family. Debra brought joy and sunshine, we will always love her for the laughter and happiness she gave to us.

To the family of Debra, I am so sorry to hear of your loss.  I am going to miss her so much. I'm going to miss our daily emails and the pictures of those Grandbabies that she loved so much.  Thank you Jeremy for the email letting me know how she was.  She was my as we called each other Sistah and I loved her very much.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.  May your memories bring you comfort.

Our prayers are with Debra's family. May the Grace and Mercy of Our Precious Saviour give you comfort. Cherish the special memories you have, and keep them close to your heart. "But may the God of all grace, who has called us  to His eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered for a while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you." 1Peter5:10....this verse gave me hope and comfort with the recent death of my mother. I pray that Debra is now resting in the arms of our Father in Heaven, and is dancing and singing with the angels. God Bless.

Jeremy my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this time.  Be strong and know that she isn't suffering anymore, she is rejoicing in heaven.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life's routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends. Debra will surely be missed by many.  I will miss getting all those "funny" emails from her on a regular basis.  She was such a great person.
