A resident of Gonzales and retired business owner, he passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2015. He was 80 and a native of Gramercy. Dennis loved riding motorcycles and playing music in his younger days and then enjoyed fishing at their camp in Pierre Part, LA.
He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Peggy Mire Landry: daughters, Denise Landry McFarlin and husband, John; Debbie Landry and husband, Blayne Coupel; son Deanie Landry; and 2 grandchildren, Dara N. Landry and Hayden A. Landry.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Dennis J. Landry, Sr. and Doris Minvielle Landry from Lutcher, LA.
A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 5 pm to 9pm. Visitation resumes on Monday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am, Rev. Jerry Martin officiating. Burial to follow in Prairieville Community Cemetery.
