

Doris Dupuy Lambert, a native of Whitehall, LA, who resided with her daughter in Baton Rouge, LA, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the age of 87. Doris was a very devoted mother and grandmother, whose greatest joy in life involved time spent with her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed traveling with her family and friends, especially her travels with long-time neighbor and friend, Mrs. Anne Tallon.
Doris is survived by her loving daughters, Debbie Lambert Braud, Patti Lambert Johnson and husband, Randy, Jeannie Lambert McDuffie, Stacie Lambert Singletary and husband, Don; sister, Audrey Brignac and husband, Wesley; grandchildren, Brandi Braud Kelly and husband, Michael, Jodi Braud Molliere and husband, Kelly, Kati Braud , Aimee Johnson, Laura Johnson, Alex Paul McDuffie, Brian Singletary and wife, Meagon, Brandon Singletary, and Kyle Singletary; great-grandchildren, Cole Smiroldo, Jacob Smiroldo, and Josie Molliere
Doris is preceded in death by her son, L. Perrie Lambert III; parents, Arthur and Lillie Dupuy; siblings, TJ “Sonny” Dupuy, Edgar Dupuy, Elizabeth Deslatte, and Margie Sullivan; Son-in-law, Timothy J. McDuffie.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church from 10:00 am until Funeral Mass at 12:00 pm celebrated by Fr. Jerry Martin. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Baton Rouge Hospice.
