

Clifton “Cliff” White, a native of Rockport, MS and resident of Gonzales, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his family on Thursday, February 2, 2017 at the age of 77. Cliff was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He loved everyone and always enjoyed visiting and drinking coffee with others as well as hunting and fishing. He was a retired truck driver. He was very loved and a member of The Church of St. Amant. Cliff is survived by his daughters, Tina and husband Luke, Paula and husband, Joey, Lisa and husband, Ty, Net, and Janet; sons, Kevin and wife Diane, Chris, David, Shane, and Adam; grandchildren, Chase, Chelsea, Stormie, Austin, Ashley, Josh, Stephen, and numerous others; great-grandchildren, Damon, Rigel, Nicholas, Wendie, Brandon, Brooklyn, Zoey, and numerous other. Cliff is preceded in death by his loving wife, Evelyn “My Woman” White; parents, John and Mary Chance White; brother, Tony; daughter, Lori; sisters, Willie Jean, Ethylene, Magginell. Visitation will be held on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales from 10:00 am until service time at 12:00 pm. Entombment will follow at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Mausoleum. Joey Babin, Mike Jumonville, Kevin White, Shane White, Chase Lanoux, Josh Therrell, and Stephen Simmons will serve as pallbearers and Chris White will serve as honorary pallbearer. The family would like to give thanks to special family friends, Mike and Brenda Jumonville as well as Troy Burgess for all of their love and support.
