Gloria V Gregoire

Gloria Vicknair Gregoire, age 90, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 30, 2023, at Azalea Estates of Slidell, LA. She is survived by her sons, Eric and Douglas; her grandchildren, Mary Ann Russo, Amanda Gregoire, Lauren Gregoire, Derick Gregoire; great grandchildren, Shelby, Hannah, Ava and Mark, as well as, many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 63 years, Joseph "Dewey" Gregoire; 4 sons, David Randall, Glenn, Gerald, and Patrick; granddaughter, Taryn; her parents, Amaluce and Althea Fontenot Vicknair; brothers, Amaluce "T-June" and Charles Vicknair; and sisters, Velma Tureau, Nita "Pap" White, and Mercy Babin. Gloria was born December 26, 1932 in Whitehall, LA., a resident of Chalmette, LA., for 56 years before relocating to Prairieville, LA., after Hurricane Katrina. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Prairieville, on Thursday July 6, 2023 from 9:30AM until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30AM.
