Helen Florence Easley Michelli passed away peacefully with family by her side on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the age of 79. A native of Independence, LA and a resident of Gonzales, she was a retired Director of Radiology at Our Lady of the Lake Hospital with over 39 years of service. Helen loved her family deeply and was known as always being happy with an unforgettable and infectious smile. She enjoyed cooking especially on the holidays and taking care of her home. Helen loved Christmas. She had a passion for LSU sports especially baseball. She will be deeply missed by all who loved her. Helen is survived by her 2 daughters, Charlotte Bowlin (James) and Cheryl Michelli; son, William Michelli; 2 grandchildren, Morgan and Madison Michelli; sister, Patricia Ivey; 3 brothers, Louis Easley, Homer Easley, Gerald Easley and special friend, Jan Fassino. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ray Michelli, Sr.; sister, Hazel Easley and brothers, Claude Easley and Wayne Easley. Visitation will be held at St. Mark Catholic Church on Saturday, June 29, 2019 from 8:30AM until a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30AM, celebrated by Father Rubin Reynolds.
