Henry Herman Warthen III

An insulator with Iberville Insulations and a resident of St. Gabriel, he died Thursday, Aug. 19, 2010, at The Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. He was 54 and a native of Baton Rouge. Visiting at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Saturday, Aug. 21, from 8:30 a.m. to noon. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Gabriel Catholic Church, St. Gabriel at 1 p.m., celebrated by the Rev. Charlie Landry. Entombment in the church mausoleum. He is survived by his wife, Andrea Brignac Warthen, of St. Gabriel; parents, H. Herman Jr. and Margie Fairchild Warthen, of St. Gabriel; two daughters and a son-in-law, Ashley and Jeff Smith, of Mont Belvieu, Texas, and Misty Warthen and friend Tristin Moore, of St. Gabriel; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Travis and Kate Warthen, of St. Gabriel, and Joshua Warthen, of Winnie, Texas; a brother, Eric Warthen, of St. Gabriel; and six grandchildren, David Warthen, Landon Smith, Justin Smith, Alex Warthen, Bryce Warthen and Lane Moore. Preceded in death by a brother, Bill Warthen; maternal grandparents, George and Mable Fairchild; and paternal grandparents, H. Herman Sr. and Pearl Warthen. Pallbearers will be Tim LaPlace, Dana Gomez, Rocky Barbay, Brock Aydell, Darren Spedale and Bart Templet.
