Ida Nichols Reine

A native of Campti and resident of St. Amant, she passed away Saturday, May 12, 2012, at the age of 63. She was in the banking business for 40 years and ended her career as an operations manager for Regions Bank. She is survived by her loving husband of 46 years, Ronald J. Reine; two daughters and sons-in-law, Angela and John Jordan and Ashley and Gabriel Gautreaux; sister, Patricia Nichols; brother, Jesse Nichols; and five grandchildren, Ronald Joseph Bourgeois, Sarah Lucille Jordan, Mary Taylor Gautreaux, Damien Luke Gautreaux, and Anna Kate Gautreaux. Preceded in death by her parents, William H. and Mary Taylor Nichols. A visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Tuesday, May 15, 2012, from 6 p.m. until 9p.m. Visitation will resume at Holy Rosary Catholic Church on Wednesday, May 16, 2012, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m., conducted by Rev. Jon Koehler. Burial will follow in Holy Rosary Catholic Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Robert Sheets, Ronald Bourgeois, Darrin Cagnolatti, David Nichols, Franz Yasko, and Curt Lanoux. Honorary pallbearers will be Damien Gautreaux, Rodney Nichols, and Wanel Yasko.
