

GONZALES – A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted for Mr. James Edward “Outlaw” Enloe, age 53, at 10:00 am Thursday, June 5, 2014 at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in St. Amant, LA with Fr. Jon Koehler officiating. Interment will follow at the Church Mausoleum.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Wednesday at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales. Visitation will resume Thursday morning at Holy Rosary Catholic Church starting at 9:00 am and continuing until service time.
A native of Shreveport and resident of Prairieville, Mr. Enloe passed away on Monday, June 2, 2014 at Baton Rouge General Hospital.
Mr. Enloe enjoyed motorcycle drag racing. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
He is survived by his wife, Wendy Allen Enloe; son, Beau James Enloe; parents, Ed Enloe and Judy Swanner Enloe; brothers, Jeff Enloe and spouse Patricia Enloe, Bobby Enloe, Brian Enloe and spouse Kaye Enloe and sister-in-law, Heather Luquette and spouse Brett Luquette.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Leta S. Gumber and James Wallace Swanner and Talley H. Phillips and Willard B. “Papa Pete” Phillips.
Pallbearers will be Jeff Enloe, Bobby Enloe, Brian Enloe, Jeffery Enloe, Dalton Enloe, Jordan Enloe, Ricky LeBlanc, Randall Guitreau and Brad Amadee.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to Dr. Miletello, Dr. Russell and the staff at Baton Rouge General Pennington Cancer Center for all of the excellent care they provided.
