Jeanette M. Coppock, 87, was born November 25, 1938, in Ramseytown, North Carolina, and passed away on March 3, 2026. Jeanette was a spirited, loving presence whose life was marked by warmth, connection, and the joy she brought to those around her. She was a resident of Gonzales, Louisiana.
A celebration of Jeanette’s life is best told through the moments she created and the beauty she loved. She found happiness in gardening—surrounding herself with flowers—and enjoyed decorating with a special flair that made spaces feel welcoming and lived-in. Jeanette also had an eye for jewelry and the little touches that made everyday life feel bright and special. Just as much as she loved creating beauty, she loved sharing it—wining and dining with family and friends, and hosting celebrations that brought people together and made everyone feel included.
Jeanette is survived by her daughter, Debbie Robinson (John); her son, Kevin Coppock; her sister, Olean; her daughter-in-law, Charlene Coppock; her grandson, Gerald Coppock (Michelle); her grandchildren, Anthony Robinson (Lindsay) and Vanessa Hemenway (Duke); and her great-grandchildren, Joshua Coppock, Mia Hemenway and Avery Hemenway.
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Golean and Nelly; her brother, Gordon Coppock; her son, Kenneth Coppock; her long term companion, Steve Bateman; and her parents, Alfonso and Lora Berry.
Visitation will be held at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy, Gonzales, Louisiana 70737, on March 13, 2026, beginning at 10:00 a.m. A Celebration of Life Service will follow on March 13, 2026, at 11:30 a.m.
