Joseph Gill Aime, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021 at the age of 78. He was a native and resident of Head of Island, LA. Joseph enjoyed watching sports, wrestling and riding his golf cart around the neighborhood. He was a Eucharistic minister for Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church and enjoyed being involved in other duties of the Church. Joe retired from the Louisiana Department of Revenue, Severance Tax Division.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Junius P. and Muriel Vicknair Aime; brother, Jimmy W. Aime, Sr. and brother-in-law, Perry Watts.
He is survived by his sisters, Dian (Richard) Simoneaux, Patty Watts; brothers, Gary (Anna) Aime, Donald (Susan) Aime, Ricky (Sherri) Aime; sister-in-law, Ruth Aime and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Family and friends of Joe are invited to attend the Visitation on Thursday, October 21, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 15710 LA-16, French Settlement, LA from 9am-11am. Mass of Christian Burial will immediately follow. Interment: Our Lady of Perpetual Help Cemetery, Head of Island, LA.
