Larry J. Bouquet Sr.

Larry John Bouquet Sr., 85, of Maurepas, Louisiana, passed away on July 21, 2025. He was born in Morganza, Louisiana on February 19, 1940, to Sidney and Leah Bouquet and was married to Donna Marie Bouquet for 44 years.

He graduated from Morganza Highschool in 1959 and then enlisted in the United States Army. After getting out of the service, Larry went on to have a Career at The Dow Chemical Company until retirement in 1995.

Larry enjoyed doing yard work, traveling and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children, Lisa Bouquet, Larry Bouquet Jr. and Jefforey Bouquet; daughter in law, Tammy Bouquet (who he considered to be a daughter) grandchildren, Kristan Whann, Alyssa Hicks and Darrian Bouquet; great grandchildren, Noah Whann, Daniel Whann, Hayes Hicks and Ellie Bouquet and sister Ora Gueho.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Donna Marie Bouquet, nine brothers and sisters and parents Sidney and Leah Bouquet.

A visitation for Larry will be held Friday, July 25, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at St Stephen Catholic Church, 22502 LA-22, Maurepas, LA. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM . Interment to follow at Whitehall Cemetery, 22256 LA-22, Maurepas, LA.
