Visitation will be on Thursday, September 16, 2021 from 6pm-8pm at Ourso Funeral Home-Gonzales. A mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, September 17, 2021 at ST. JOHN THE EVANGELIST CATHOLIC CHURCH at 11am.
Larry was born in Baton Rouge to CJ Kling Sr. and Donith Kling on May 14, 1964. He graduated from East Ascension High School in Gonzales in 1982. His last employment was as a diesel mechanic at Atlas Copco until his automobile accident on December 22, 2002. Despite his original short prognosis from the accident, we were blessed to have him in our lives almost nineteen more years.
Larry is preceded in death by his father, CJ Kling Sr, brother-in-law, Todd Rodriguez, and great niece, Rylee Achord.
Larry is survived by his son, Adam (Devin), mother, Donith Fairchild Kling; brothers, Carroll (Donnie), Randy (Rhonda), Timothy Sr., CJ Jr. (Jean), sister, Lora Rodriguez (Maher), granddaughter, Laiklyn, and 11 nieces and nephews (Rory, Rebecca, Brandon, Chelsea, Timothy, Chae’, Rene, Jared, Bree, Jenna, and Jorja) and numerous great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society in memory of CJ Kling, Sr.
