Lonnie D. Massie Jr. passed away on February 29, 2024 at the age of 60. He is survived by his nephew Brad Lambert and numerous friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie Massie Sr. & Gladys Duplessis Massie; his siblings, Gary Massie & Betty Mae Lambert and his niece Cathy Morris. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew him.
Lonnie was a hard worker, he worked for many year with for the Ascension Parish School Board. Lonnie enjoyed the simpler things in life. He enjoyed being outdoors, especially when he was out rabbit and coon hunting with his friends at the hunting lease.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy. Gonzales, LA 70737 on Saturday March 9, 2024 beginning at 10AM with a funeral service starting at 12 Noon. The interment will follow at Galvez Pentecostal Cemetery.
