Lucille Devillier Brooks

Lucille Devillier Brooks , a loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully on January 6, 2022 at the age of 68. She was the beloved wife of Ely “Roy” Brooks for 48 years. The devoted mother of Eric Brooks (Olivia), Michelle Humphrey (Torey), and Alice Farmer; proud grandmother of Tyler Brooks, Tifani Brooks, Easton Humphrey, Evyn Humphrey and Austen Farmer; Godmother of James Devillier Jr. and Jason King. She is survived by siblings James Devillier (Madeline), Moise Devillier Jr, Paul Devillier and Lois King; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents Moise Devillier Sr, Alice Deranger Devillier and sister Merrill Gremillion. Pallbearers include Eric Brooks, Tyler Brooks, Torey Humphrey, Easton Humphrey, Austen Farmer, Jason King, Shane Kling, Ryan Brooks and Honorary Pallbearer James Devillier Jr. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Ourso Funeral home Wednesday, January 12, 2022 from 9:00 am – 10:30am. A mass of christian burial will follow at 11:00 am at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church 15208 Highway 73, Prairieville, La. Burial at Serenity Oaks Memorial Park, 15304 LA-73, Prairieville, La.
