A native and resident of Gonzales, Marc passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, January 22, 2014. He was 64 and a retired Pipefitter with Local 198. After retirement he spent all his time bass fishing.
He is survived by his loving companion and friend, Penny Jacob and her family; daughters, D’Ann Turner and husband, Phillip, Nicole Jones, and Jeri Lynn Melancon and husband, Chris; sons, Marc E. Daigle, II and wife, Donna, Joshua Daigle and Aaron Tullier; sister, Donna Broussard; brothers, Richard Gayle Daigle and wife, Barbara and Lawrence Earl “Larry” Daigle and wife, Carol; 16 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonce and Ruth Fife Daigle.
The family will host a gathering to celebrate Marc’s life at his home on Saturday, January 25, 2014 from 1 pm to 5 pm and all are invited to attend.
