I am saddened to hear of Doug's passing. I look back to fond memories of our friendship in high school. After several years of not seeing each other, it was really good to run into him and meet his lovely wife Donna at a local concert. He was quick to pull out his wallet to share pictures of his beautiful children. He was so proud of his kids. I am so glad I was able to talk with him after all of these years. He grew up to be an amazing man with a good woman to be his companion.
Peace and love to all of his family.

Our condolences are with the Viator family. We had the pleasure of meeting and knowing Mark through the Gonzales Soccer Club. Our families became friends and grew to know each other. Mark was a very kind, gentle and generous person. He was always positive and willing to lend a helping hand. We are deeply saddened by his loss. My God bless your family with comfort during this period of bereavement.

Mark was one of my greatest mentors on my Eagle Scout journey. He was always looking to lend a helping hand to everyone in the troop and made it his mission to see us all succeed. As a great friend, mentor, and leader, our troop and our family he will be missed dearly.

Mark and I went to school in New Iberia. He always had his leather bag with the silver buckle. Whether you had a class with him or not he would acknowledge you when you called his name. Met him again in life when he arrived a day early for Jessica's Parent Night . Said he could not make it but wanted to see her class. Kept telling people that I knew him and I did!!! He helped me with the death of my dad. I thank him for that. I have a special needs step son and he helped me to understand him. We have a great relationship now. Donna, thoughts and prayers to you and the kids.
