

Farley was born in Gonzales on June 14, 1945 to N.F. Kinchen and Ethel Courtney Kinchen and was a current resident of Fayetteville, Arkansas. He passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 21, 2014 at the age of 69. He was a 1963 graduate of Gonzales High and was employed with Borden Chemical for over 40 years. He was an original member of the Ascension Parish HAZ MAT Unit and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. His greatest pleasure came from his family and working with young men as Young Men's President. He is survived by his loving wife of 49 years Darla Paxton Kinchen; four children, Neff Kinchen, Shanon and Greg Brian, Chad and Jamisa Kinchen, and Drue and Jill Kinchen; four grandchildren, Jamie and Jimmy Henry, Camille Brian, Abbey Kinchen, and Paxton Kinchen; and a great grandchild, Bailey Henry. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Billy Ray Kinchen. Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Sunday, August 24, 2014 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Visiting will resume at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints on Monday from 10 am until service at 11 am. Burial to follow in Ficklin Cemetery, Gonzales.
