O'Neil Joseph Lonibos

O'Neil Joseph Lonibos, 76, a resident of Gonzales, LA for 7 years, formerly of Marrero, LA for 43 years, passed away on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. He was a sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, a Notary Public, and was the Vice President of Sun Financial, where he was employed for 48 years. He is survived by his beloved wife of 54 years, Gail Ellen Pitre Lonibos; daughters and sons in law, Cheri and Karl Touchard and Michele and Leroy Ledet; sons and daughters in law, Neil and Paige Lonibos and David and Joy Lonibos: 11 grandchildren, Joel and Blaine Touchard; Ryan, Royce and Reegan Ledet; Ashton, Braeden, and Cason Lonibos; and Cade, Alexa and Easton Lonibos: and great granddaughter, Janessa Touchard. He was preceded in death by his parents, O'Neil John and Stella Ledet Lonibos; in laws, Harry A. and Annabelle Tassin Pitre; brother, Merlin Lonibos; and sister, Lillian Lonibos Hebert. Visitation will be at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church, Gonzales, LA on Saturday, February 21, 2015 from 9 am until a Memorial Mass at 11 am.
