Patricia "Treci" Morgan

Known for her generous spirit and unwavering devotion to animals, Treci was an avid defender of animal rights. She dedicated countless hours to the care and fostering of English bulldogs, giving many dogs a second chance at a loving life. Treci’s greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her daughter, Tymbra Recatto; her son, Devin Jordan; and her cherished granddaughter, Alayna Grayce Jordan. She also leaves behind her sister, Lisa Recatto-LeBlanc (Johnny); her brother, Beaux Recatto (Michelle); and her nieces and nephews: Noelle Downing, Samantha Recatto, Sarah Recatto, Daniel Laurent, Dallas Laurent (Nikki), and Jimmy Downing. She is further survived by her great-niece, Cali Ann Laurent. She was preceded in death by her father, Samuel “Buddy” Recatto Jr., her mother, Beverly Ann Killen-Doss; stepfather, Thomas Doss, sister, Kymbra Recatto-Downing, Grandmothers, Alma Gay and Ellen Dehnel Milioto; and grandfather, Samuel Thomas Recatto. To know Treci was to know kindness, compassion, and an immense love for all living things. Her presence will be deeply missed, yet her legacy of care and advocacy will endure. May she rest in peace.

A memorial gathering to honor Treci’s life will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Colyell Baptist Church, 19524 LA Hwy 42, Livingston, LA.
