A loving husband, father and grandfather, he passed away Sunday, November 6, 2011 at the age of 66. He was a lifelong resident of Ascension Parish and an avid outdoorsman. He was a Vietnam Veteran with the US Army, having served from 1969 – 1971. He was a Captain with the Baton Rouge Fire Department and retired in 1993. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Barbara Acaldo Boe; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Boe and Kathryn, Richard W. Boe and Toni, Clint Boe and fiancé, Cheryl Cheatwood, Terry W. Broussard, Brad Broussard and Traci; 10 grandchildren; sister, Wanda Lee Bizette; and brother, Adam Boe. Preceded in death by his parents, Celina M. Zeringue and Augustin J. Boe. There will be a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, Wednesday, November 9, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday, November 10, 2011 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Prairieville, from 9:30 a.m. until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Oak Lane Memorial Park Cemetery.
