Robert Everett Henry

Robert Everett Henry, a native of Hughes, AR and resident of Gonzales, LA passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at the age of 76. Robert was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle, who enjoyed spending time and creating memories with his family and friends. Robert was a soft spoken and kind man with a humble heart. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Geraldine “Gerry” Doran Henry; son, Randy Henry and fiancé, April Rogers; daughter Cynthia Smith and husband, Walter; step son, Cody Meche and wife, Karen; grandchildren, Candice Smith, Jordan Smith, Spencer Smith, Madison Henry, and Tristyn Meche; brother, Bill Henry and wife Becky; sister, Mary Carolyn Harp and his beloved dog, Fritz. Robert is preceded in death by his father, Warren Henry and wife, Nellie and mother Gladys Breeding and husband, Charles. Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at Ourso Funeral Home of Gonzales from 10:00 am until a memorial service to honor Robert’s life at 12:00 pm.
