Robert "Logan" Skaggs

Robert “Logan” Skaggs passed away on March 8, 2021 at the age of 44. He was the loving husband of Nicol Gautreau Skaggs and a devoted father to Kyler and Rylan Skaggs. Logan is survived by his siblings; Jason Skaggs and wife Jennifer, Le Skaggs and Jaynie Curington, his step-mother Kay Massie and a host of nieces, nephews and family members. He is preceded in death by his parents; Wanda Curington and Jack F. Skaggs. He will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved him.

Logan was proud of his time as a CTE instructor and teaching computer programming at the Louisiana School for the Deaf. He was born in Oklahoma City in 1976 and came to south Louisiana in 2005 where he started his family; besides the love for family, he stayed in the south for the love of food. He was always an outgoing, happy go lucky person. You could hear his belly laugh from down the hall. Through the many accomplishments he has had, his proudest moments where spent being a father to his two sons. He loved his boys and his wife deeply. Although his time here was cut short, his memory will live on through those he loves.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home in Gonzales on Monday, March 15, 2021 from 9AM till 11:30AM.
