

A loving daughter, wife, mother and grandmother, she passed away unexpectedly Thursday, Jan. 13, 2011, at the age of 48. She was a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Prairieville. Kay was the cafeteria manager at Oak Grove Primary, and an avid bargain shopper who loved dancing, music and spending time with her family. She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Grady L. Stratton; sons, Shane Stratton and Corey Stratton; grandson, Benton; parents, Challon and Ann Smith Guillory; grandmother, Lillian Guillory; brothers, Dwayne Guillory and Scott Guillory and wife Linette; sister, Tiffany Medine and husband Blake; and numerous loving brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her grandfather, Ray B. Guillory; grandparents, Elter "Doogie" and Myrtle Smith; mother and father-in-law, Lety "LeLe" and Donald "Doc" Stratton. There will be a visitation at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales, on Sunday, Jan. 16, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home Monday, Jan. 17, from 9 a.m. until services at 11 a.m. Interment will be in Oak Lane Memorial Park, Prairieville. Pallbearers will be Dwayne Guillory, Scott Guillory, Tucker Stratton, Blake Medine, Chase Medine and Jake Guillory.
