Sherry Singer Ducote

Sherry Singer Ducote passed away peacefully at home on August 12, 2021 at the age of 71. She was born on February 10, 1950 in Lawrenceville, Illinois and has been a long time resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She is survived by her loving husband Donald Ducote and son Mark Ducote. She is also survived by her sister Lora Joe Hartsuff and brothers Warren Singer, George Narcih and Brad Narcih. She was Aunt Sherry to Nieces Kimberly Minya Fetzer( 1 daughter); Joelle Singer (1 son, 1 daughter); Daniyel Hartsuff Valenzuela (2 sons, 1 daughter), Sabrina Hartsuff Garland (2 sons); Vanessa Hartsuff and Nephews Jacob Singer (1 daughter); Steve Minya (2 daughters, 1 son); and Jerry Brown (1 daughter, 1 son). She is preceded in death by her parents Jerry Singer and Rosella Singer Garrett, her sister Vonda Singer and her Grandparents Eugene and Lottie Singer.

Sherry enjoyed entertaining and loved throwing big crawfish boils, especially at their home on Belle River. She liked cruising Belle River with Donald on their party barge, and sitting on her swing on the deck watching the river slide by. She had a heart of gold, often going visit kids with the COSTA program. She will be greatly missed by all of those who knew and loved her.
