She was born on October 17, 2022, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. From the very beginning, she was a light—full of joy, strength, and an infectious happiness that touched everyone who knew her. Even through all obstacles, Taryn remained the happiest baby, always finding ways to bring smiles and warmth to those around her.
She had a special love for dancing with her daddy and cherished the simple pleasures of childhood, especially the game of tickle with her brother. These moments, filled with laughter and love, will forever be treasured by her family.
Taryn is survived by her loving parents, Ian and Devon Blanchard; her brother, Nathan Blanchard; her maternal grandfather, Scott Richard; her paternal grandparents, Donald and Elizabeth Blanchard; uncle, Donny Blanchard; and her great-grandmother, Frances Gibser. She was deeply loved by many family members whose lives are forever changed by her presence.
She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Tara Sizemore-Hazell.
Though her time here was far too short, Taryn’s life was filled with love, and her spirit will live on in every laugh, every dance, and every memory shared by those who loved her most.
