GONZALES – Memorial Services will be conducted for Mr. Terry Moore, age 57 , by his brother in Christ, Rev. Byron Townsend at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at One Life Church, 45020 Guitreau Ln., Prairieville, LA 70769

A native of Baton Rouge and resident of Lake, Terry passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014.

He is survived by his wife, Darcie Moore; seven daughters, Jessica, Sara, Melissa, Shannon, Crystal, Tonia, and Elizabeth; six sons, Danny, Craig, Tim, Jesse, Tony, and Brian and many son’s and daughter’s-in-law; sisters, Diane and Debbie; brother, Randy and many special and beloved grandchildren (it’s complicated!) including Dylan, who has lived with mom-mom and pawpaw T for most of his life.

He was preceded in death by his son, Jacob; granddaughter, Maddie, and his parents.

Terry was a devoted project manager for TopCor. He spoke very highly of his employer, coworkers, and boss, John. He was a dedicated foster parent through the years to nearly 100 children. He dedicated his entire life to others. Terry loved his tractor and his shop. He was a key leader at Crosspoint Church, in serving many different ways and recently followed God’s call to One Life Church to reach his people and his neighbors. Terry adored and served Darcie, his soulmate and love of his life.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Terry’s honor may be made payable and mailed to Grace Baptist Church, 630 Richland Ave., Baton Rouge, 70806. All donations will be used to support local missions in Baton Rouge.
