Waynette Sharon

Audrey Waynette Sharon passed away on April 23, 2026 at the age of 80. She was a native of Minden, Louisiana and a longtime resident of St. Amant, Louisiana. Waynette was a devoted mother, grandmother, and friend.

She is survived by her children, Stephen Kerry Morgan, Michael Christopher Morgan (Brandi), David Anthony Sharon (Jessica), Louis Sharon, Paul Sharon, and Aimee Sharon; her grandchildren, Lauren Sharon, Matthew Morgan, Benjamin Sharon, Abigail Klein, DeAnna Hughes, Cody Morgan, Kyle Morgan, Maegan Miler, and Sarina O’Quinn; her great-great grandchildren, Anthony Morrow and Lylah Klein. She is also survived by her brothers, Lamar Farrington, Aubrey Farrington (Wanda), and Tracy Farrington and numerous family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her husband Everette James Sharon Jr.; her parents, Aubrey and Helen Farrington; her son Patrick Sharon and her brother Rocky Farrington.

She loved to cook and often brought meals to senior citizens that she knew. She even edited local cookbooks testing recipes and ensuring they tasted perfect before print. She always put others before herself and was an ultimate caregiver to her family, especially her late husband EJ. She loved spending time with family and friends, visiting her school friends from Minden, LA as often as possible. She will truly be missed by all of those who knew and loved her.

Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Service on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Ourso Funeral Home, 13533 Airline Hwy. Gonzales, LA 70737. The visitation will begin at 9AM with the service beginning at 11AM. Waynette will be laid to rest at Greenoaks Cemetery in Baton Rouge, La following the funeral.
