William Monroe Seal

William “Bill” M. Seal, age 87, passed away December 17, 2016 at the Crossing at Clarity Hospice. He was born in Angie, LA on March 3, 1929 and resided in Prairieville. Bill was an Air Force veteran who served during the Korean conflict. He was a truck driver for Texaco for many years who earned a 2 million mile safe driving award. He also drove for Trailways Bus. Bill served as deacon at Oak Grove Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Irene Daniels Seal; daughter Cindy Winfrey; sister Bessie M. Koski; brother Freddie L. Seal (Joyce); sister-in-law Nelda Krotwell Seal and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Henry and Lear Knight Seal; brothers Herbert, Thomas and Henry Seal and sister Ruby Thomas. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday December 21, 2016 from 5PM – 8PM at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales. On Thursday, December 22, 2016 visitation will be from 9AM until service at 11AM at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Oak Grove Baptist Cemetery.
