Joe Alcantar Sepulveda Sr.

Joe Sepulveda Sr. was born February 12, 1926 in Gonzales, TX to the late Mr. Manuel Sepulveda and Mrs. Filomena Alcantar.

In his leisure time he enjoyed watching and playing baseball with his family. He enjoyed driving for American Poultry which he did for over twenty years. Joe Sr. passed away at the age of 85 on October 17, 2011 in Gonzales, TX. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Guadalupe Gonzales, one son, one sister and three brothers. Joe Sr. is survived by his six sons: Manuel, John, Ruben Sepulveda all of Gonzales, Henry and wife Odelia Sepulveda of Victoria, TX; Ino and wife Amanda Sepulveda of Gonzales; and Joe Sepulveda III of San Marcos, TX; two daughters: Patsy and husband Ruben Garcia, Gloria and husband Rodrigo Gonzales both of Gonzales, twenty-five grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren and sixty-nine great-great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 21, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Gonzales, TX. Visitation will be held 11:30 AM Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel. Rosary held for 7:00 PM Thursday, October 20, 2011 at Buffington Funeral Home Chapel.
