Dear Kelly, 

I was just telling a co-worker about this amazing woman, who was incredibly thoughtful, kind and generous with me and to me when my mother living in the south was battling cancer.  This lady, "shifted" people and schedules, and ultimately created a job for me in HR to make sure I was able to get to and spend time with my ailing Mom.  This lady went above and beyond for me out of sheer empathy and compassion for my situation.

This lady was your mother.  Annette was authentic. She was feared, respected and admired at Providian.  My life could have been very different, had I not known your Mom.  I am saddened to hear of her passing, although confident Annette's tenacity and compassion continues to carry on in her lineage.

I have many fond  memories boating at Center Hill and great meals in Florida at the house in St. Augustine .
 Sadly ended way too soon but a life lived to the fullest she was brave and fought as long as she could.

What a privilege it was to work with Annette.  Bright, effective, and caring, one could not have worked with a better human being.  

I am so very sorry for your loss.   I have many memories of time spent with a young Annette (and family) as our Dad's met at work shortly after both of our families emigrated to Canada (Vancouver).    We only had a few years tho before the Westwells moved on to California but the friendship between our families continued.   I think Glenn and Annette even came for a visit when Steffi was just a baby.   My thoughts are with you through this most difficult time.    Much love.

I'm sadden of the news of Annette's passing. I worked with Annette at Alpha Beta along with Glenn. Annette the first one to babysit my Sara at two weeks old .  I helped move her to Shingle     Springs Ca when her parents lived there before moving to Florida. Enjoyed buying her old dining set..used to be her parents..they brought it back from Canada.  Annette I will miss your lively spirit and wonder anccent.  Love Glennda


My younger sister was a rebel from the get go. She enjoyed life though. She loved her three girls with a passion. I say three because Steffi was the light of her life but Aby and Syd where her dogchildren. She helped me get over my fear of flying when our parents moved many states away from me. I will always try to keep  all the funny stories of her in my memory bank. Miss you “ Nett” Love Karen
