Arthur James (Hammer) Elmore Jr., age 81, of Cottontown, Tennessee passed away on Tuesday, February 20, 2024. Jimmy was born Thursday, September 3, 1942 in Santa Maria, California. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur James Elmore, Sr. and Isabelle Ruth Kirkpatrick Elmore; sisters, Audra Swann and Patricia Ricketts.
Jimmy was owner of Kim-Trey Roofing in Goodlettsville for 43 years and then O'Rendezvous Bar in Madison. He enjoyed fishing, watching sports, an avid Vandy and Alabama Fan, and going on casino trips with family and friends.
He survived by his children, Kim Ray and her husband Derrick, Trey Elmore and his wife Vickie, Debbie Dilleha and her husband Jason; brother, Michael Elmore and his wife Darlene; grandchildren, Dalton Elmore, Dominick Dilleha and Dane Hurley; great-grandson, Colson Elmore.
A visitation for Jimmy will be held Monday, February 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1150 South Dickerson Road, Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
A celebration of life will be Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens Garden of Love. Pallbearers: Dalton Elmore, Dane Hurley, Derrick Ray, Jason Dilleha, Ronnie West and Ethan James Hackney.
