Billie Dell Lundy, age 90, passed away Monday, November 30, 2015. Born Friday, November 13, 1925 in Goodlettsville; he is preceded in death by his parents, William Elijah and Johnny Sadler Cordell Lundy; step-mother, Alice Lundy; wives, Margaret Elizabeth Lundy, Mary Fluty Lundy, Katherine Meadows Lundy; sons, Billy Dale Lundy, Floyd Matthews, Jr.
Mr. Lundy was a Chemical Engineer earning is Bachelor Degree from Vanderbilt University; and remained true to his Alma Mater as a Vandy sports fan; his hobby was singing.
Mr. Lundy is survived by his children, Jedonna (Paul) Amstutz, Mark (JoAnn) Lundy, Gale (Kenny) Cothran, Mark (Lisa) Fluty, Mike (Cathay) Fluty; sisters, Sandra Allen, Carolyn Kukdendall; brother, Ted Lundy; six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be conducted 2:00 Friday, December 4, 2015 in the chapel of Forest Lawn with Bro. Joe Finch officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Alive Hospice or the American Cancer Society.
Family and friends will gather to remember Mr. Lundy at a visitation Thursday, December 3, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1150 South Dickerson Road Goodlettsville, TN 37072.
