He is preceded in death by his brothers, Jerry Watson, Mike Watson, Bobby Watson and Kenneth Watson.
Billy is survived by his wife, Donna Watson; daughter, Leslie Watson; grandchildren, Paiton Wauford and Preston Wauford; brother, Phillip Watson (Lee); sisters, Janice, Sherry and Diane; will be remembered by many nieces and nephews.
Billy liked to fish. He loved the mountains specifically Gatlinburg every year. He was a graduate of Hume Fog and went into the military shortly after. He was a renowned carpenter for The Nashville Network. Billy had no problem being the funniest, wittiest person in the room. He had a way with words that kept you smiling and laughing all the time. To know him is to love him. He will be dearly missed by family and friends.
A visitation for Billy will be held Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Goodlettsville, Tennessee, followed by a a celebration of life service at 2:00 PM.
